The Argentinean brand Uma has entrusted us, yet again, with the production of their fall/winter campaign. This time, we chose the Barolo Palace to shoot Pink model Paula Gandolfo in a mythical porteño landscape. Gustavo Di Mario was in charge of the shot and Simona Martinez was in charge of the styling.

Our close collaborator: journalist, producer, and fashion & trends investigator Daniela Rusak, has finally landed in Buenos Aires to start a first series of Cool Hunting & Trends investigation courses.
Built on her years of experience as a correspondent for Future Concept Lab –one of the most important consultant agencies in the world, settled in Milan-, and by her multiple trips looking for global trends; this pioneer within the local trends world, teaches much more than the art of watching the streets.
In 4 intensive lessons, a workshop-course oriented to reflect, as well as to explore and learn the methodology needed to find answers.

Our alma mater and director has been called by the Univerity of Palermo to participate in an informal lecture along directors of other local agencies. When his turn was up, and under the title “The creation of a fashion style”, Picky elaborated on the need of a creative insight that marks the interaction between the models, magazines, advertising agencies and producers in order to work out image related issues. Furthermore, he described his innovative way of approaching style by discovering talented people who possess different kinds of beauty in daily environments to put up on the catwalks: This shows how the Civil experience is revealed from its beginnings to its successful current format.

Romulo Pires, Civiles’ Booking Special and better known for starring in campaigns as important as Gucci’s, Valentino’s or Cartier’s Parfums is on fire.
His latest works, from Carolina Herrera’s sunglasses collection, to Class Cavalli’s fall/winter ’09 add campaign, including the latest Louis Vuitton catalogue or CK1 fragrances’ commercial –in which he starred along Caroline Ribeiro and Guisela Rhein, and was shot by Steven Meisel- are proof that this Brasilia native and winner of Elite’s contest in 2001, is succeeding worldwide.

Civiles’ Booking Special Alexis Vinas has been chosen to star in UFO’s new fall/winter add campaign, directed by Raul De Chapearouge and with the usual urban spirit that represents the jeans brand.
This way, the Argentinean model settled in the heart of the Brazilian island of Florianópolis, has left surf boards in order to add yet another campaign to his proliferate campaign book. Among others, he already has Gucci, Osklen, La Redout and C&A –the latter along Alessandra Ambrosio and Caroline trentini- in his credit. |

SOY LO QUE SOY (I am What I am), that’s the name of this campaign that also counts with the support of INADI, and the Department of Justice, security and human rights of Argentina, suggests that phrases like “No discriminar” or “Be yourself” printed in T-shirts under the seal of this renowned Argentinean brand.
A controversial theme that tackles modernity in matters of genre.

We have been invited by agency Vega Olmos Ponce once again, to produce Rexona’s new graphic ad campaign.
Inspired by women’s fantasies and, mostly aiming for the feminine sensitivity, the pictures, shot by Ines Garcia Baltar, were carried out at Espacio H’s studio.
