The explosive Argentinian brand, Vestite y Andate, ally of Civiles since four seasons ago, hired again one of its emblematic models for the 2010 Fall-Winter season: Ceci Barros.
More red hot than ever, with makeup of Delfina Larguia and hairstyle of Roho, Ceci posed for Pablo Franco’s lens, under the Art Direction of Gabriel Pardo, and made one of the most bright campaigns of the year.
The new collection is inspired on the early universe and emphasizes earth and sky elements, in a game of combinations that brings together flowers, rocks, stones, stars and suns.

Civiles presents the second Edition of Civil Seminar, which will take place between May 19 and May 28 of 2010, in Buenos Aires.
Civil Seminar is an innovative coaching project that brings together the most distinguished Argentinian professionals involved in different areas of the fashion industry.  The proposal consists on a duo of professionals that will talk to each other and to the participants about their work experience, with an intimate and not academic style.
In this opportunity the Director of Civiles, Picky Courtois, prepared six meetings to investigate about Trends, Photography, Styling and Design:

University is the place where you can find the minds that best understand the language of creativity and that in the future will set the course of labor market. So, it is the ideal place to tell the experience of someone who, only with a table and a borrowed computer, ended creating a brand, developing an aesthetic concept, associating with the trend and being an international reference point in styling and fashion: the story of Civiles. That is the reason why a year ago Picky Courtois began to offers talks in the educational circuit.
One of the most important things that students can incorporate during these talks is the importance of creativity, of moving away from traditional stuff and changing the rules. The last of these meetings, titled “The new model of models”, was performed on April 13 and organized by the University of Belgrano, and the next one will be next April 28, at 4.30 pm, in UADE University.
In the same university context, but this time in a different role, Picky was in charge, with Ana Torrejón and Dora Becher, of the presentation of the book titled “Fashion in Palermo III: creations of students of Fashion Design”, in which students of Palermo University show the projects they develop in classrooms. The event was held last April 14 at Sofitel Buenos Aires Hotel.

During five seasons this widely known brand has chosen Fer to do its campaigns, and at this point, we can say that he has become a symbol of the image and concept of this brand.
“It is great being the image of a brand during several consecutive seasons. It is nice to know that your work goes well wearing your favorite clothing”, says Fer, who has already worked in these campaigns with photographers like Chino Zavalía and Gisela Filc.

Beautiful, fresh and professional, Carla Moure stars the current campaign of Cook, in company of the civil Fernando Marek, and as if that was not enough, she was photographed by Nacho Ricci in the recent campaign of Lazzaro.
Since the beginning of her career, our wonderful Carla has worked for the most prestigious clients: she was cover girl on Catalogue and modeled for Ona Saez, Amor Latino and Aintzi Buru. Nowadays she continuous being one of the most required faces in Buenos Aires.
Carla has been tempted by commercial magazines to be released mediatically, but she knew how to reject them a keep on being the spoilt girl of the most select fashion circuit.
About to begin her international career, our civil is getting ready to confront this new stage and she tells so in exclusive to Civilizate: “I am planning to enjoy not only the work, but also all the experiences that appear when you are at different places. I love travelling and taking the most of my time”.

Maris is an Argentinian musical, minimalist and conceptual, in which an actor and an actress perform sea animals and plants. In act one, an octopus and a devilfish fight for a collection of fish eggs and a hungry shark spares life to a dolphin. In the second act, two cannibal seals get married; a whale feels sick during a poetry reading and a couple of intoxicated seaweeds cause the death of all the inhabitants of the sea. In the next act, two frogfish are caught with a net and sing an existentialist song about death. Without any doubt, this is a very different musical, directed by Lorenzo Anzoátegui and performed by Franco Bertolucci and Andrea Carballo.

After being choosed to portray the guitarist Keith Richard’s daughters, the amazing Argentinian photographer Toto Cullén, based in New York since 2006, not only works ceaselessly, but also he does it in the best levels.
During his last stay in Buenos Aires, our friend and ally has been up to his tricks again and took the occasion of a short visit to work with the civil Alli López, Ceci Barros, Priscila Crivocapich and Rocío Somoza.

Once again, Felix decided to entrust its campaign to a select casting of Civiles and to the photographer Pato Battellini. The result of this formula is consistent with the creativity of the brand: better and better.
The classic top civil, Nicolás Figueras, provided once more his fresh and stylish image to the Argentinian brand, this time in company of a striking and prestigious female partner: Mía Flores Pirán.
